Hello 7th Grade Parents! First of all, I apologize for not blogging last night. However, your students continued with the connecting activity called "About My Classmate..." Each student used the information that they gathered to create a power-point slide about their classmate. The students really had fun working on this presentation! We finished the week out with this activity. I am excited to start grading these collaborative projects.
We are also having a parent meeting on Thursday, January 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria regarding the option that you have to send your students to Washington, D.C. over Spring Break in 2013. We are at the initial stages of this project, so it is not too late to get involved. Parents are welcome to come on the trip as well! Please call me or e-mail me if you want to know more about this trip but are unable to attend the meeting.
